17.10.2026 Stroll. Aqua and the Udelniy flea market

New face, same habit: walking. The Aqua mask was finished, I put it on, and the city didn’t get a single day to prepare.😌

The pace was quicker than my usual strolls — not a rush, the character simply doesn’t do melancholy. Shorter steps, busier steps, and rather more curiosity than is strictly safe inside a mask with no peripheral vision. No matter! Can’t unlearn the experience even by drinking!🍺

The park with the welded gate

The small park came first, the one where the trees let the light through in long stripes. It looked fantastic, and yes, I stood in it long enough to take personal credit for the sunshine.☀️

I tried to walk straight through the park and out the other side. The other entrance was welded shut. Welded. Shut. How rude!😤 A goddess takes a detour, she doesn’t turn back, so I went around it.

Out on the road the traffic was crawling. I genuinely wondered whether I was walking faster than the cars were driving. I probably was. Small victories taste exactly like this.😏

“You’re a fairy”

On the way to Udelnaya station a woman walked by my side for a bit at me and continued to say I was a fairy. Not a doll, not a cosplayer — a fairy. Best review I’ve had all year, and I’ve had plenty of reviews, most of them delivered at close range without permission.🧚

Udelniy flea market

Past the station, the market: clothes on blankets, someone’s entire apartment laid out by the kilo, and one very large crowd with opinions. It was really crowded. Lots of stuff, and I could see almost none of it through two beautiful blue windows. So I mostly watched people watching me.☺️

I didn’t buy anything — no money on me. I accept donations!💸😋

Getting out was the hard part. Everyone wanted a photo. Everyone. I’m not complaining. Actually I am, a little: I have other things to do!😮‍💨

About the new face

Aqua arrived just before this walk.

A being of questionable usefulness dropped into a world with no quest, no party, and a flea market instead of a dungeon. No healing spells either. I do have a good eye for other people’s junk, and apparently that counts for something on this side of the summoning.💧

What comes next

This world keeps handing out side quests I never signed up for: welded gates, traffic to outwalk, strangers calling me a fairy. I am excited about what else it has to offer. Judging by today, rather a lot.✨
